As a client of The Wax Lounge Ltd you agree to the following Terms and Conditions

Cancellations

We require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations.

We provide a personalised experience to all of our clients. When you book an appointment, that time is reserved for you exclusively.
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we ask that you do so at least 48 hours in advance so we may give the appointment to another client.
Cancellations of less than 48 hours will incur a fee of 50% of the cost of the booked service, payable at the time of your next treatment.

‘No Shows’

“NO SHOWS” will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount. The account must be settled before any further bookings can be made. Clients who have previously missed two or more appointments will be asked to pay in full for the service when booking.

Keeping Time

We want your experience to be enjoyable and go as smoothly as possible. So that we can give you our best service, we ask that clients arrive on time for appointments. In return we will do our utmost to ensure that your appointment begins on time and is finished on schedule.
However, if we are running behind, due to an issue with a previous appointment, we will call or text you to let you know so you won’t have to wait.
Unfortunately we can’t guarantee treatments for clients who arrive later than 15 minutes after their scheduled time as this can affect all following appointments on that day. We appreciate a call to let us know you are running late.
A 15 minute grace period will be given for appointments. After 15 minutes without contact to inform us of your E.T.A, your appointment will need to be rescheduled.

Deposit

Deposits are required for treatments and at certain times of the year. You will be advised of this at the time of your booking.

Children

In the interest of Health & Safety, Insurance and the comfort of other clients, a strict ‘No Children‘ policy is implemented at the salon. We cannot accept responsibility for a child’s welfare so for the safety of staff, the salon and the child, we ask that clients not bring their children when attending appointments. We thank you for your understanding.

Tariff

We reserve the right to amend or modify the tariff for individual treatments without prior notice. Any price changes will be reflected on this website. (You will however always pay the price of the treatment as it was at the time of your booking!)

Doctor’s Approval

Please Note: To ensure client’s safety when carrying out certain treatments, doctor’s approval will be required for those with Circulatory Conditions, High Blood Pressure, Epilepsy, Autoimmune Diseases, Diabetes, Neuropathy or Cancer. ( If you are undergoing treatment for cancer, your Absolute Neutrophil Count will be required.)

Medical Information

Please note that in order to advise you on the correct treatments, could you please make me aware of any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your treatment options at the time of booking.

Bookings

Please inform us at the time of booking if you are pregnant or have any prior medical condition, or if you are an existing client, mention at the start of your appointment of any change in your health or medication since we last saw you.
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for treatments, this is non refundable should you cancel the appointment with less than 48 hours notice or fail to show up. We reserve the right to refuse future treatments.

Waxing

It is advisable not to have any heat treatments immediately prior to or after a wax treatment, this includes the use of sunbeds, steam rooms, sunbathing, saunas, hot bath or jacuzzi. Avoid heavy exercise or swimming for 24 hours after your wax treatment.

Teenage Treatment

Parental consent is required for all treatments offered to under 16 years olds, who must always be accompanied by an adult.

Retail

We carry a full range of products and are happy to offer advice and recommendations.

Reminder Service

We offer an appointment reminder service by email so please where possible, let us have your email address.

Privacy Policy

Your personal details will not be shared with anyone and whatever happens at The Wax Lounge stays at The Wax Lounge!
